Bleaching my haiR

For the past few month, since last December, I have been trying to get my hair blond! But, unfortunately all efforts failed. At first I tried to avoid bleaching my hair, since I've done it once, and it hurts so bad. Plus, my hair that time didn't became blond, but instead like a coppery-red. So I decided to get my hair blond by using a dye or hair color, but it didn't gave me the color I wanted. So I keep dying my hair a couple of times, with different brand of hair color even, but still couldn't get my hair to be blond.

I'm a sucker for blonds. Seriously! I am so attracted to blond-haired people, especially those Korean artists. Even if I have no clue who they are, if they have a blond hair AND they look good with it, I will immediately become their huge fan!

So I've been searching for a new dye to blonded my hair, and I found this new product called Beauteen, its supposedly a product from Japan.

This is what the front box look like

This dye is called Platinum Blonde

It comes with 6 items, a powder bleach, bleach cream developer with a bottle, bleach cream, comb-nozzle, glove + Color Care Leave On Treatment and an instruction manual

What your hair expected to look like

My hair before bleached

The Comb-Nozzle. The product/bleach comes out of the holes in between the comb

Right after complete application

After 10 minutes

After 20 minutes

After 40 minutes, washed with shampoo and conditioned, and with the Color Care Leave-on Treatment

Different lighting 1

Different lighting 2

Overall, I didn't feel as much pain as the first time I bleached my hair, most probably that one has an extra bleaching, the ones from Gatsby. And I really like the Comb-Nozzle thing, this is the first time I used something like that. Kinda convenient. I did leave the bleach on for an extra 10 minutes. It is mentioned that you shouldn't leave it on for more that 30 minutes, coz it can damage your hair or scalp. But I just leave it on for more effect I guess ^^. Next thing to do on my list is get a hair cut and hair treatment. I'm so looking forward to that <3 !

Until the next hair-transformation...xo xO!

Secret admireR?

A few weeks ago, as I was going back from the lab and walking towards my car, I saw something hanging the side mirror of my car. At first I thought, "WTF! Who the hell hanged garbage on my car?!". The bag was sealed with a yellow tape at that time, so I took a peek in it. At first I thought it was some kind of food, but as I opened it more, it was actually a teddy bear!

I was stunned, like is this for me? Did somebody left this teddy bear for me? Why would anybody here wanna give me a teddy bear? That was so weird. I didn't know what to do with it, and I couldn't just live it there, and I definitely NOT bringing it back to my room. Who knows what could have been done to that bear right.

So I decided to take it back to the lab and leave it there. Just in case somebody wanna claim it later.

So here a few situations that I could think of why that teddy bear was left hanging on my car:

Situation 1
Somebody have left it or forgotten it near my car, then somebody else walked by and saw the bag, probably took a peek as well, and then hung it on my car.

Situation 2
Somebody who was using a motorbike and parked it beside my car, had too much on his/her hand including that bag with the teddy bear, then hung the bag on my side-mirror while getting on his/her bike then forgot to take the bag back.

Situation 3
Somebody actually got that teddy bear as a present but then didn't like it, so he/she just left it on my car!

Situation 4
That teddy might actually be for me! So that means I have a secret admirer here?
That person would have to be somebody near me to be able to know my car. But the thing is, there's nobody interesting around me! So, REJECTED!

Here's what the teddy bear look like~

Not that cute is it? And why is it looking to the right?!

The bag that poor teddy was in. How cheap can that person be!

Since nobody came to claim the teddy in weeks, I decided to put it in good use and let it sit in my car. LOL. Its just taking up space in the lab anyways.

Sitting in the car...

...all by its lonesome...

Hope to get more stuff from you Secret admireR! LOL ^^.

Need a change in lifE

"Have you guys ever felt that you are caught in a circle and wish you could break out of it and just do something out of the ordinary?"

I feel like I'm living in a life that's not...very meaningful?! IDK. Sometimes when we do the same thing  over and over again it just makes us feel like we're not living our life to the fullest and that we are trapped somehow. So what are we suppose to do about that?

I don't want to live my life where I regret I didn't do something or worse, didn't get a chance to do it because I forcefully living a life that I don't want in the first place. Kinda like regretting not saying something that made other people took advantage of us.

Enough of the rambling, ^^, just wanna point out that this is not the life I wanted for myself. Going to the lab from morning to evening, even coming back at night and even at weekends! This is not what I would want my life to be. I know taking Master by research is...well, THIS basically. But! This is as far as I would go. I'll just suck it up and do my work patiently. Sorry bos, but I don't think I can go any further that Master coz this is not the life I wanted. I don't like the "skema"-world like academic and stuff like that. Sure, of course I can do it, but I'd be forcing myself to do it. And that is not cool! So, basically, after Master, WORK!!!

In the mean time, I just need to do something to break out of that freaking circle of work! But, knowing me, that would involved money. Lots and lots of money. I need to go out more and see the world, as they say it, socialize more and meet new people ^_~! This is definitely one on my new year's resolution this year. And KL will see more of me, just because lots of my friends are there, working or studying. And I need to get more stuff, cuz stuff always makes me happy! Hell, stuff always makes everybody happy! heeee >_<

2011 new year's resolutionS

I mentioned about one of my new year's resolutions in my previous post. I'm sure you guys have your own resolutions this year. These are some of mine. I may add or just dump some of these resolutions as time goes by though...heehee ^_~

1. More skincare products, less cover-up products.
If you know me personally, you would know what i mean. My skin is not getting any better or younger as my age increases (try so hard to avoid the word 'old'), so I need to start taking care of it. I don't wanna look like a saggy old people when I reach my 30s.

2. Taking care more of my body.
Kinda the same as the first one, just don't wanna look like crap when I get older. I really don't want to end up like those typical guys, where as they get older, so does their one pack! Yuks!!!
So I'll be watching what I eat and don't eat. And more exercise of course >_<

3. Go to KL more?
I'm kinda blur on this one. I decide I'd be going to KL more frequently this year, don't really know for what reason really, and somehow I turned it into one of my new year's resolution. LOL. This might just be one of the resolution that I'd dump later though.

4. Save more money.
Everybody I know have savings. DAMN! I haven't even started yet. I read somewhere that you should save 10% of your salary to your saving account, for short or mid-term purposes, and 10% more for investment. So I am definitely doing that. Though I have to cut my budget on some stuff I think...huhu =(

5. Taking more care of my Neo.
I haven't actually been paying much attention to my car and it's been pretty damaged over the years. I've had it for almost 2 years and a half now. It got scratches everywhere, bumps here and there and some of it's pain is fall off already. None of these are my fault. Except for one or two scratches. Which I accidentally got from bumping into a motorcycle and the back of someone's car. LALALALA.

6. Finish my Master!
This one is the most important I think. Officially, I have 2 more semester to finish my Master and that should be by the end of this year. So! More work, less fun???
Don't think so. Can't really live like that now can I. ^^.
Dunno what I'll do, but just plan my work carefully I guess.

So far, this is all that I can think of. I'll add some later when I figure out some new resolutions for myself.

SK-II

I needed some change in my skincare products since my current products that I was using, which is Clinique, doesn't give much improvement to my face. At first I did noticed slight improvement, but after a while, it doesn't do much. So at first I was thinking of getting the Advanced Night Repair from Estee Lauder. This product is about RM 290 for the full size bottle.

But as I was surveying things, I saw SK-II have a promotions and I asked the sells-lady about SK-II. So she said that the key product for SK-II is their Facial Treatment Essence and you can use it twice a day, in the morning and night. Then it got me thinking, the Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair should only be used at night right, so the effect is less compared to SK-II since you should only use it at night. So I decided to get the SK-II Facial Treatment Essence. Since I just wanted to try it, I only got the smaller size and since they have promotion that time, it comes with a few things.

So the Facial Treatment Essence comes with a smaller Facial Treatment Clear Lotion, Facial Treatment Mask (just 1 piece I think) and a box of cotton. The sells-lady also gave me a sample of their Facial Treatment Cleanser. This set is about RM 209 if I'm not mistaken. So I have been using these products for a week (except the mask, haven't used it yet) and I immediately noticed an improvement on my skin. Yayyyy.

They describe the Facial Treatment Essence as:

Containing more than 90% Pitera®, this much loved miracle water is a must-have for healthy, radiant skin. It helps maintain the skin's natural renewal cycle to its optimum condition to allow skin nourishment. It also works to balance the skin's pH and sebum secretion, so oily and dry areas are properly moisturised.

What I loved more about this product is that it somewhat help in reducing and keeping my acne at bay. So I'm really loving the Essence <3.

My sister also have been using SK-II product for years now. And it definitely have improved her skin greatly since she has the same problem as me before, but mine is worse! Anyways, I saw that one of the this that she uses is the Facial Treatment Repair C. At first the "C", I thought refer to Vitamin C. So I was so excited of trying it, without even asking her of course (WAHAHA*eVil laugh*), coz Vitamin C is supposedly good to fix up your skin right. Until much later that I found out the "C" is actually stands for Concentrate. So it's actually called Facial Treatment Repair Concentrate. I am also interested in this product because they claimed that in order to achieve crystal clear skin, this is one of the product that should be in your skincare routine. So of course, I went and got it!

They describe this product as:

This serum gently reduces the appearance of fine lines in just 2 weeks, improving skin texture so it becomes crystal clear. Its unique blend of concentrated Pitera® and nature's moisture magnets works to help maintain skin renewal to its normal 28-day cycle, leaving skin plumped with moisture and feeling velvety smooth.

This product alone is worth about RM 327 and this is the full size bottle, 30 mL. So I just started using this. They claim that you will see the results in 2 weeks. So, we'll see about that.

I know these brand/products is a bit expensive, but I don't mind getting expensive things as long as it worth it. Plus, one of my new year's resolutions this year is, "More skincare product, less cover-up products".

Until next time...xo xO!
