SKINCARE: Mizon's Collagen Power Lifting Cream REVIEW

Another product from Mizon that I have tried is the Collagen Power Lifting Cream. I got it together with the All in One Snail Repair Cream which I already reviewed here

As I grow older, any kind of products that has Lifting or Firming on it interests me. This cream was quite cheap, around RM 60+. That why I decided to try it out.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
1. 75 mL (2.53 fl. oz.)
2. Made in Korea

(They have change the packaging for this cream from a jar to a bottle with pump. It is now 50 mL instead of 75 mL.)

This cream is like a gel in texture. It does not feel sticky like the snail cream does. When you apply this to your face and massaged it in, you could still feel slight tackiness on your face. You can feel the cream sitting on your skin. Some people might not like this. But I have no problem with it. I only use this cream at night as the last step in my night skincare routine. Mine almost finish now.

LIKES:
1. Its not too expensive.
2. I like the texture and it blends pretty easy without feeling too heavy.

3. It did pretty good job of moisturizing my face.

4. My skin looked quite supple the morning after.

DISLIKES:
1. It didn't really do much lifting as far as I can tell :(

REPURCHASE?:

Probably not.

See you guys on my next post.

SHOPPING: Small Hermo.com Haul (Hair Products)

I've been meaning to get an anti-dandruff shampoo for a while now. I don't usually get dandruff. But I do get them when the shampoo that I am currently using is not suitable for me. Most of my shampoo are for treated hair, as I often colored my hair. But every now and then I do get the anti-dandruff shampoo. For anti-dandruff shampoo I usually used the one BAWANG.

I like this shampoo and I actually like the herbal smell as well. I know some people hate that. But I thing that I did not like about this shampoo is that it is drying and made my hair feels kinda rough. I usually took care of that by using a good conditioner.

Anyways, a bit side tracked there. I decided to try a new shampoo from Dr's Formula. It has a green tea and mint extracts, which both I love. I also got the Mise En Scene Perfect Repair which was a twin pack deal from Hermo.my

*Shopping tips on Hermo: wait for the product/s you really like to be on sale/deal and make backup of it*

Hermo usually comes in a box like this. They vary in sizes depending on how much stuff you purchase.

It comes with a bubble wrapper and a bubble bag now.

These are the Mise En Scene Perfect Repair (Twin Pack). They RM 38 when I bought them. So that like RM 19 each. That really cheap because the usual price for 1 bottle is more than RM 30 if I'm not mistaken. And its 70 mL a bottle.

This is the Dr's Formyla Danddruff-Off Recuperating Shampoo (Green Tea & Mint). There's actually an original ones which did not have Green Tea and Mint in it. But since I love green tea and mint, I decided to get this one. I have not tried this yet. But hopefully it will clear up my dandruff. This shampoo was RM 41.25 and 580 g. So you get quite a lot of product for quite reasonable price.

Only until recently that Hermo gave free samples in our purchases (and about time Hermo). This time I got the Laneige Water Bank Essence EX sample.

See you guys on my next post.

SKINCARE: Mizon's All In One Snail Repair Cream REVIEW

This is the very first Snail Cream that I've tried.
I got mine from Hermo.my as always.
Honestly, I just wanted to try it since there was a CRAZE in Snail Cream in most of  Korean brands out there. Every company just seemed to put out their own Snail Cream. And this product was quite cheap when I got it. It was around RM 60+ if I'm not mistaken.
But I'm pretty sure the price went up by now.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

1. 75 mL (2.53 fl. oz.)
2. Made in Korea

CLAIMS:

 1. Outstanding skin regenerating effect (92% snail secretion filtrate)
Mucin from snail slime helps skin regeneration.

2. Fine wrinkle care by adenosine and peptide (certified for anti-aging)
Adenosine and peptide certified for anti-aging give a skin firming effect.
3. Blemish care
Improve acne scars and blemishes during continual use.
4. Pore care
Beta-glucan, peptide and green tea extract add a synergy effect to the snail slime extracts skin firming effect, helping to tighten large pores by improving skin elasticity.

When you mention snail slime, some people might be like
"YUCKS",
"Why would you put that on you face?",
"That disgusting!"
and  other unnecessary remarks.

However, trust me, it's not that bad at all. You would assume it smells, being snail slime and all, its not. So don't worry about its smell. The actual product actually smelled quite nice. The consistensy of the cream is quite sticky. Again, being slime and all, right.

It does feel sticky when you apply it to you face at first. But once you massaged it in, it will be fully abdorbed and it does not feel sticky anymore.

One this you should know, Mizon designed this cream to be applied in a wierd way. They recommend you use this product as the first step in you skin care. Hmmmmm...cream as a first step?
If you at least know the basic of skincare, that is wierd. However, I just use it like a normal moisturizer and just during the day. Mine is pretty much empty now.

LIKES:

1. The price. Its quite cheap and you get quite  lot of product.

2. Moisturized my face without making it look/feel oily.

DISLIKES:

1. Honestly, all the claims, I didn't work on me. I didn't see any of the clamis working on my skin. Wrinkle, pore, acne and scar are pretty much still exists on my face :(

REPURCHASE?:

Probably not.

See you guys in my next post.

SHOPPING: My Go-To Online Shopping Site

Over the past year, I have been quite obsessed with online shopping.
Which mostly focused on skincare (OF COURSE!) and some other beauty and random stuff.

The main shopping site that I go to is hermo.my

So far, I got most of my skincare from this site. I am still actively shops on this site, though I restrained myself from doing more damage to my wallet as of late, just so I can finish everything that I've already bought first.

The service provided was mostly good and I received my order usually within a week.

I totally recommend you guys to have a go on this site. Just be warn, you might get addicted ;)

LIKES:
1. This site offer variety of products and mostly brands from Asian countries like Korea, Japan and Taiwan.
2. You can get products that you normally can't get in store.
3. There a Point collecting system (collecting Points is a plus for me).
4. Sometime you can get a cheap/ best deal on products that you like.

DISLIKES:
 1. What really bothers me is that you can't really use all the Points you collected. Even if you have thousands of Points, you are only limited to use 500 Point per purchase. Which is a disappointment. I have asked them regarding this matter and they said they are taking it up to their Management. So we'll see how it goes in the near future.

SKINCARE Reviews Coming SOON

HELLO EVERYBODY!
Oh gosh, how long has it been? This blog had been neglected for years. And I mean YEARS!
I have no excuse for it. I was just too focused on life and just lost interest in blogging :(

HOWEVER, I have decided that I will be blogging again. And hopefully more frequent.
YAYYYYY :)

Expect a lot of contents full of skincare (Asian skincare mostly) and other stuff. Which I have yet to decide. I might just ramble things here and make it my open-so-that-people-can-read-and-judge kinda diary! That will be fun (uhhhhhhh).

Until then, MISS YOU GUYS and hold on tight for the next post
