SKINCARE: Mizon's All In One Snail Repair Cream REVIEW

This is the very first Snail Cream that I've tried.

I got mine from Hermo.my as always. 

Honestly, I just wanted to try it since there was a CRAZE in Snail Cream in most of  Korean brands out there. Every company just seemed to put out their own Snail Cream. And this product was quite cheap when I got it. It was around RM 60+ if I'm not mistaken. 

But I'm pretty sure the price went up by now.  

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

1. 75 mL (2.53 fl. oz.)

2. Made in Korea

CLAIMS:

 1. Outstanding skin regenerating effect (92% snail secretion filtrate)

     Mucin from snail slime helps skin regeneration.

2. Fine wrinkle care by adenosine and peptide (certified for anti-aging)

    Adenosine and peptide certified for anti-aging give a skin firming effect.

3. Blemish care

    Improve acne scars and blemishes during continual use.

4. Pore care

    Beta-glucan, peptide and green tea extract add a synergy effect to the snail slime extracts skin firming effect, helping to tighten large pores by improving skin elasticity. 

When you mention snail slime, some people might be like "YUCKS", "Why would you put that on you face?", "That disgusting!" and  other unnecessary remarks. However, trust me, it's not that bad at all. You would assume it smells, being snail slime and all, its not. So don't worry about its smell. The actual product actually smelled quite nice. The consistensy of the cream is quite sticky. Again, being slime and all, right. It does feel sticky when you apply it to you face at first. But once you massaged it in, it will be fully abdorbed and it does not feel sticky anymore.  One this you should know, Mizon designed this cream to be applied in a wierd way. They recommend you use this product as the first step in you skin care. Hmmmmm...cream as a first step? If you at least know the basic of skincare, that is wierd. However, I just use it like a normal moisturizer and just during the day. Mine is pretty much empty now. LIKES: 1. The price. Its quite cheap and you get quite  lot of product. 2. Moisturized my face without making it look/feel oily. DISLIKES: 1. Honestly, all the claims, I didn't work on me. I didn't see any of the clamis working on my skin. Wrinkle, pore, acne and scar are pretty much still exists on my face :( REPURCHASE?: Probably not. See you guys in my next post. xo S

SHOPPING: My Go-To Online Shopping Site

Over the past year, I have been quite obsessed with online shopping. 

Which mostly focused on skincare (OF COURSE!) and some other beauty and random stuff.

The main shopping site that I go to is hermo.my

So far, I got most of my skincare from this site. I am still actively shops on this site, though I restrained myself from doing more damage to my wallet as of late, just so I can finish everything that I've already bought first. 

The service provided was mostly good and I received my order usually within a week.

I totally recommend you guys to have a go on this site. Just be warn, you might get addicted ;)

LIKES:

1. This site offer variety of products and mostly brands from Asian countries like Korea, Japan and Taiwan.

2. You can get products that you normally can't get in store.

3. There a Point collecting system (collecting Points is a plus for me).

4. Sometime you can get a cheap/ best deal on products that you like.

DISLIKES:

 1. What really bothers me is that you can't really use all the Points you collected. Even if you have thousands of Points, you are only limited to use 500 Point per purchase. Which is a disappointment. I have asked them regarding this matter and they said they are taking it up to their Management. So we'll see how it goes in the near future.

HELLO EVERYBODY!

Oh gosh, how long has it been? This blog had been neglected for years. And I mean YEARS!  

I have no excuse for it. I was just too focused on life and just lost interest in blogging :(

HOWEVER, I have decided that I will be blogging again. And hopefully more frequent.

YAYYYYY :)

Expect a lot of contents full of skincare (Asian skincare mostly) and other stuff. Which I have yet to decide. I might just ramble things here and make it my open-so-that-people-can-read-and-judge kinda diary! That will be fun (uhhhhhhh).

KPOP: Current Obsession (Best@Beast & Exo)

Recently , 2 K-pop groups made a comeback and I have been obsessing with their single since then .

The first one is Best or Beast with their single Shadow . 

I have always been a fan of Best/Beast .

And I loved most of their songs . 

Since you know with K-pop , some of them are like a one-hit-wonder . They might came up with a good song here and there , but then the rest are dull .

Its not uncommon since most artists under SM Entertainment are usually well-prepared . And a sight for the eyes . I'm always fangirling over Lay .

LIFE: Ending and Beginning

Yo ! Its been a while . Two year to be exact ! My last post was back at 2011 . 

I stop blogging because I just got caught in the ups and downs of life , as simple as that .

Well , now I'm back ! 

Long story short , the ENDING part is I have finished my Master Degree . Even though it took the longest time to complete . None the less , I got my Master already !

But this is not the end of my journey as a student yet . Because , I will further , yet again , my study , to the highest level of education ever , that is PhD ! Yes ! I will be doing my PhD starting this September .
What the hell have I got myself into ! 

That would be one of the BEGINNING part I guess . Another part would be I have finally move to my own rental house . Shared with some of my friends of course . Before this I stayed in a hostel inside my Uni . Sucks part about that was we have a curfew of 12 am . After that , we have to get our matrix card scanned . Which I really hate ! So having my own house would mean I can go out for as long as I want without any time constrains .

The house that I'm staying now is actually the house that I have stayed before . I just came back there because there was an empty room . The time that I went to see the room , it was a mess . A freaking mess . I looked like some animals have made that room a place for a party or something .
I took literally 2 days for me just to clean that room . 2 days I tell you ! I literally have to get on my knees to scrub the floor . Feeling like Cinderella . 


Anyways , even after cleaning the room , it still look like shit !

 Believe it or not , while I was cleaning this part of the floor , and scraping bits and pieces of this termite-destroyed-once-infested floor , there was even a centipede ! Yes , a centipede . I tried to kill it but it crawled back into the floor . Now , I am living , sleeping , with a centipede in my floor ! How nice .

 And this is some more of the termite-destroyed floor .

And look at my door knob . Lovely huhh . I bet no thief nor robber can enter my room now !


As bad as this room looks , I just gotta make the best of it . The floor , I just covered it with a rubber mat . But the door , I can't do anything about that for now . But I have showed it to the landlord . Hoping he will do something about it .
